I am a fiber artist living 20 miles from the Northeast gate to Yellowstone National Park. We live just off the Chief Joesph Highway. Walk, ski or snowshoe everyday. I am a founding member of the 1st Textile Art group in Wyoming, Textile Artists of the Greater Yellowstone. One last thing, I am terrible at updating my blog. I always promise to do better but so far I fail at that. Must be because I am busy creating art??

Beautiful walk
I walk every morning, and this is just one photo I have taken on that walk. This was last fall but thought it worth a share.

Teton turns 10 years old this year.
She did not start out being our dog, but when we brought her home, she did belong with us. We have learned a lot about Teton since she became part of our family. ( 6 years now) She loves to be brushed, she loves giving dog kisses, she will "belly up" anytime and anywhere for a rub. She whines when she wants something and when it is time for our morning walk, well she is the very best at howling. She is loved and she is a sweet member of our fur family.

Loving my morning walk
I walk every morning, the same walk. Sometimes with Russ, but every morning with our dogs. It is always a good way to start the day. Always so beautiful. Makes me start my day appreciating where I live.

'Where's my Mama?'
This is the companion piece to the 'Deep Sea Fishing' quilt I published last week. This little guy
is thread painted, and with a little paint I shadowed parts of the egg.
