I am a fiber artist living 20 miles from the Northeast gate to Yellowstone National Park. We live just off the Chief Joesph Highway. Walk, ski or snowshoe everyday. I am a founding member of the 1st Textile Art group in Wyoming, Textile Artists of the Greater Yellowstone. One last thing, I am terrible at updating my blog. I always promise to do better but so far I fail at that. Must be because I am busy creating art??

Zebra
This quilt is totally thread painted, using my sewing machine hooping the fabric and then hours and hours of using the thread and machine to paint the white and black threads into the Zebra. My favorite kind of "art quilt". The beads are hanging loose at the bottom of the Zebra.

Another view of Pilot/ Index
Never tire of the view of this mountain. Pilot/ Index can be seen from just about every direction on the Chief Joesph Highway. We are fortunate enough to see it daily from our home and many of our hikes give us optimal viewing.

Just another day in paradise!
One of our daily walks/hikes. I love these rocks, but I do think I thought I was getting a shot of a raven in a dead tree? Still a pretty nice photo!

Hunter Peak
Hunter Peak is the mountain on the left in this photo. We hike this tail alot in the winter.(and summer) Easy access and after a few weeks the trail gets packed either from our snowshoes or our cross county skis. We have seen many elk up on this trail.
