"Through the Lens"

 Dorothea Lange was a photographer that took photos during the "dust bowl "era and many of those from the Japanese/ American Internment.  I fell in love with her work when I curated an exhibit at The Heart Mountain Internment Center.  This quilt has been juried into the HERstory quilt exhibit.  The above photo is a close up.  Below the entire quilt.  this was a 1st for me,  a quilt in gradations of Black to White.  One of my all time favorites.
